I take this opportunity to thank all our school parents for the unflinching support, faith, and trust they have placed in us. Both our Annual Day celebrations were resounding successes, centered on meaningful social themes such as the Girl Child and Environmental Protection. These programs celebrated the stories of ordinary men and women whose courage and determination have played extraordinary roles in shaping their communities and countries.
We are also proud of the many success stories of our students. In academics, 12 of our students appeared for the Class 10 Board Examinations. Through remedial and Saturday classes, along with the dedicated efforts of our faculty, we were able to provide them with strong academic support. Their hard work and perseverance, combined with our teachers’ commitment, have been rewarded with commendable board results.
.All our students passed with First Division, achieving excellent marks. Every student appeared for the Diploma Engineering Entrance Examination, and we are proud to share that all of them were selected for Government Institutes. This remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the dedication of our students, teachers, and the unwavering support of our parents.
Our management continues to explore new avenues for growth and improvement. The school strongly believes in the importance of continuous professional development for teachers. In keeping with this belief, a professional enrichment workshop was organized for our primary teachers, focusing on differentiated instruction, individualized education, and effective assessment of student learning.
In addition, regular IT workshops are conducted to equip teachers with the latest technological advancements and updates, enabling them to integrate modern tools into classroom teaching effectively.
Our debate teams continue to actively participate in various competitions, and we are pleased to announce that the school will soon be sending its representatives to district-level debate events. We also plan to organize educational-cum-entertainment trips for students from LKG to Grade 10, providing them opportunities to visit important historical places and learn beyond the classroom.
However, every end marks a new beginning. In the same spirit, our academic calendar begins afresh for the academic year 2016–2017 on 1st April. Until then, we wish all the very best to everyone at JPS.
General Safety Tips for Parents and Students:
Ensure your child carries an ID card with their full name, address, and contact number, or is able to memorize these details.
Plan and familiarize your child with a safe walking route to school or the bus stop before the first day of school.
Teach children—whether walking, cycling, or riding the bus—to obey all traffic signals, signs, and instructions from traffic officers.
Instruct your child never to talk to strangers or accept rides or gifts from them.
School Bus Safety Tips for Our Children:
Arrive at the bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled time.
Never walk in the driver’s blind spot, especially the area extending about 10 feet in front of the bus.
Always hold the handrails while boarding and alighting from the bus.
Never cross the road in front of the bus unless the driver signals it is safe to do so.

As I walk down the hallways of the school each day, I hear the chatter of eager minds, the shouts of excitement from victorious athletes, the rhythmic thump of dancing feet, and the melodious harmony of young voices. This perpetual energy, movement, and enthusiasm permeate the atmosphere at Jagroshan Public School.

Beyond rigorous scholastic programmes, we strive to develop and nurture the many facets of a child’s personality. As a school, we constantly reflect on how best to engage students and sustain their attention. For learning to be truly effective, it is essential that students not only listen but also understand and absorb what is being taught.
